A Slice of Life

P is for Pokémon and Plushies.

I had a hard time just picking one. Both Pokémon franchise and Plushies have been there for me when I needed them most (plus I love them both).

Pokémon always makes me feel like no matter how hard the challenge might be or how strong the competition/opponent you’ll always get through it with just a little extra training and reliance on your friend(s)/partner(s). It has also taught me that much like Pokémon people have their weaknesses, things that they don’t take much damage from (ie. things that don’t affect them that much), and their strengths.

As for plushies – they are a way to express my interest in a franchise and also make me feel like nothing has changed in my life since life is constantly changing : ) (since I loved them as a kid).
